Job summary

Harco Fittings, part of the IPEX group, is hiring a Fuse Technician for our Stevensville, MT facility. You will inspect, troubleshoot, and overhaul mechanical systems, fusing materials with heat and pressure to meet order specs.

Responsibilities include operating heavy fabrication equipment, measuring precisely, and maintaining safety and quality standards. Overtime and weekend shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or certificate of completion preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
• Prior construction and forklift experience is a plus.
• Detail oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
• Must be a self-starter with good interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills coupled with an eagerness to learn.
• Great teammate with a proven track record to contribute to and cultivate a positive work environment.
• Ability to lift up to 30-50 lbs.
• Set work schedule Monday – Friday 7am until 3.30pm or 3pm until 11.30pm; Overtime and Weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment used in fabrication of fittings.
• Use measuring tools such as a tape measure.
• Work in a fast-paced environment.
• Safely operate different types of equipment and hand tools.
• Wear proper safety equipment as directed by safety department and supervisor.
• Maintain safety and quality consciousness.
• Multitask and maintain attention to detail.
• Follow instructions and ask questions if unclear.
• Flexibly assist in other areas as needed.
