Job summary

Harco Fittings LLC, part of the IPEX group, is seeking a dedicated individual to inspect, troubleshoot, and overhaul mechanical systems used in production at our Stevensville, MT facility. The role involves adapting pre-cut materials by heating and bonding them for orders, with hours Monday–Friday from 3pm to 11:30pm and a starting rate of $21.71+6% shift differential.

This role is based in our facility in Stevensville, MT and reports to the Production Supervisor. The hours for this role are Monday-Friday from 3pm to 11.30pm . The starting rate will be $21.71+6% for swing shift.

Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic individual who will be responsible for the inspection, troubleshooting, and overhaul of mechanical systems used in production. Our fusing technicians are responsible for adapting pre-cut materials to order specifications by heating materials utilizing hot plates and pressure to soften and bond the materials.

Principal Responsibilities

• Comfortable operating heavy equipment needed in the fabrication of fittings
• Accurately use measuring tools such as a tape measure
• Ability to work in a fast pace environment
• Safely operate different types of equipment and hand tools
• Wear proper safety equipment as directed by the safety department and your supervisor
• Safety and quality conscious
• Strong multitasking skills and attention to detail
• Ability to follow instructions and ask questions if something is unclear
• Flexibility to assist in other areas when needed

Qualifications & Experience

• High school diploma or certificate of completion is preferred
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must be able to read, write and speak English

• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines

Set work schedule Monday - Friday 7am until 3.30pm or 3pm until 11.30pm; Overtime and Weekends as needed

• Requires good mobility and involves considerable routine walking, standing for long periods, bending, and lifting up to a maximum of 30-50 lbs.
