Job summary

Design Foundry is seeking a Material Handler – Wrap Line (Loader) in Hickory, NC. You will ensure a steady flow on the wrap line, wrap and box furniture, inspect for quality, and prepare shipments while maintaining safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities include operating conveyors and pallet jacks, loading products, and coordinating with team members to keep the line stocked and moving. Forklift certification is a plus; high school diploma required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or material handling role is preferred.
• Experience handling upholstered furniture is a plus.
• Forklift certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Wrap Line Support and Loading: Maintain a steady flow of furniture through the wrap line, ensuring products are continuously pushed up and staged for wrapping.
• Inspection and Quality Control: Visually inspect furniture before wrapping to ensure no cosmetic damage and that all quality standards are met; report concerns to supervisors.
• Staging and Shipping Preparation: Roll and stage wrapped products to designated areas for shipping; load and unload furniture onto and off trucks safely.
