Job summary

Open Plan Systems is seeking a Production Associate to handle daily warehouse functions at our Richmond location. You will work with the department manager to ensure proper workflow, inventory accuracy, and a safe, organized work area.

Responsibilities include recording counts in our system, inspecting stock for wear, labeling and packing items for inventory, and assisting with manufacturing processes using hand tools as needed. High school diploma or GED required.

Qualifications

• Experience in a warehouse environment with basic inventory tasks.
• Ability to read and follow instructions and safety rules.
• Capable of working in a team and taking direction.

Responsibilities

• Enter and record inventory counts in the computerized system.
• Identify incorrect items and notify their supervisor.
• Examine and inspect stock items for wear and defects.
• Verify computations against physical count of stock.
• Keep correct inventory counts on product within candidate's work area.
• Pack, unpack and mark items for inventory.
• Follow direct instructions for manufacturing processes.
