Job summary

Furniture Fair is seeking a Visual Merchandiser to help create beautiful showroom displays in Lexington, KY. You will lead product placement, coordinate with the store team, and refresh displays to reflect current styles.

The role requires merchandising experience, the ability to lift items, and strong communication with team members to maintain high showroom standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of two years of style, design and/or merchandising experience in retail or a comparable field.
• Must be able to lift 25–50+ pounds and perform physical aspects of the role.

Responsibilities

• Lead the flow of furniture and accessory product onto the showroom floor as directed by Merchandising Department.
• Coordinate with Store Manager to move and replace products in showroom spaces.
• Direct product placement to highlight style and create appealing displays.
• Originate, implement and refresh display ideas for everyday accessories.
• Receive, unpack and assemble new accessory products for showrooms.
• Attach price and item tags and maintain organized displays across showroom.

Visual Merchandiser General Description of Duties:

• Take direction from Merchandising Department to lead the flow of furniture and placement of accessory product to the sales floor.
• Partner with Store Manager to coordinate and direct the operations team of the movement and replacement of product on showroom floor.
• Directs product placement of furniture and executes appropriate accessories to highlight the style and flair of furniture displays.
• Originate, implement and replenishes display ideas for everyday accessories when needed.
• Responsible for receiving, unpacking, and assembly of new accessory products for assigned showrooms.
• Generate and attach price and item tags to all appropriate accessory products.
• Responsible for organizing and displaying an ever-changing mix of merchandise.
• Manage multiple, on-going, and high priority assignments at the same time
• Work independently
• Ability to travel to local company showrooms
• Strong communication skills and a good listener
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of two years of style, design and or merchandising experience in retail or comparable field.

  • Ability to walk a 60 thousand square foot showroom and move furniture.
