Furniture Sales Specialist - New England Sales

We are seeking a Sales Specialist to join our New England sales team covering Maine, Vermont, and New Hampshire. You will partner with an experienced KI Sales Specialist, focusing on New Hampshire and Vermont, while your partner will concentrate on Maine and New Hampshire. Ideally, the candidate will reside in New Hampshire. This role involves covering KI's core markets including Higher Ed, K-12, Commercial, State and Local Government and Healthcare. You will engage with End User Clients, Architects and Designers, Dealers, General Contractors, and Real Estate Developers. This position allows you to work from your home office and utilize our Boston showroom for meetings and client interactions. The role offers a salary of approximately $90,000 with commission starting from the first dollar sold.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify, advance, and close sales opportunities.
  • Consistently represent the brand by offering expertise in client space applications and KI solutions.
  • Build strong relationships with Architects and Designers, clients, influencers, strategic partners and potential targets to create new leads and drive sales.
  • Facilitate "lunch and learns" with clients.
  • Conduct CEU events.
  • Maintain all sales related activities in SFDC, ensuring the pipeline is accurate, complete and current.
  • Participate in various community activities and key industry groups to promote sales leads and company brand recognition.

What you Need to Succeed:

  • Previous sales or design experience in furniture, or related industry preferred.
  • Existing relationships with architects, designers, and end users is helpful.
  • Must be able to haul sales samples.
  • Proficiency in CRM technology.
