The Furniture Warehouse in Sarasota, FL is seeking an experienced sales manager to lead and develop a store team.

You will coach associates on product knowledge and selling techniques, drive sales goals, coordinate store operations, and ensure top‑level customer service. Strong leadership and a background in commission-based furniture sales are required, with the ability to move heavy furniture when needed.

Formación

• Minimum of 2 years in sales management or assistant store management in a retail setting.
• Demonstrated success of past commission sales, preferably in furniture.
• Ability to lead, motivate and manage a team.
• Ability to move furniture for product demonstration.
• All applicants are subject to background checks.

Responsabilidades

• Train and develop sales associates on product knowledge, selling techniques, and customer service.
• Work with sales team to maximize sales and profitability.
• Attain both personal and store goals in sales volume and related revenue metrics.
• Management coverage of the store location, including opening and close of the store.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge about furniture products.
• Ensures customers are serviced at the highest level of satisfaction through quality service/products, courteous employees and quick response to needs.
• Analyze and process customer orders accurately.
• Provide outstanding customer services before and after the sale.
• Ensure that furniture is delivered to customers in a timely manner.
• Other duties as assigned.
