Job summary

Anchorage Sadler's Outlet in Anchorage, AK is seeking a Sales Associate to help customers select the perfect furniture for their homes. No prior furniture or sales experience is required; in-house training will provide essential knowledge for success.

You will welcome customers, listen to their needs, and guide them to showroom solutions while learning product details from manufacturer reps. Weekend/holiday shifts apply.

Qualifications

• Ability to listen and understand customer needs.
• Succeed in a team environment, yet able to work independently.
• Ability to learn POS system and general computer programs.
• Able to be mobile on the showroom floor, frequently walking, bending, sitting, and kneeling.
• Able to work retail hours including weekends and holidays.
• Pass pre-employment drug & alcohol testing and background check.

Responsibilities

• Welcome each customer in a sincere and friendly manner.
• Listen carefully to the customer’s needs.
• Help customers find the best solutions utilizing our showroom.
• Learn about our products through informative meetings with manufacturer representatives.
• Be able to inform customers of the products we sell.
