Job summary

Ashley Furniture’s Wasilla store is hiring a Sales Team Member to assist customers in selecting furniture for their homes. You will be welcomed into a training period with guaranteed pay and then have the option to earn commissions based on sales.

The role emphasizes friendly customer service, product knowledge development, and collaboration with the showroom team. Candidates should be flexible with retail hours andWeekend/store holiday shifts.

Qualifications

• Ability to listen and understand the customer’s needs.
• Succeed in a team environment, yet able to work independently.
• Ability to learn POS system and general computer programs
• Able to be mobile on the showroom floor, frequently walking, bending, sitting, and kneeling.
• Able to work retail hours including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Welcome each customer in a sincere and friendly manner.
• Listen carefully to the customer’s needs.
• Help customers find the best solutions utilizing showroom and special-order options.
• Learn about products through informative meetings with manufacturer representatives.
• Inform customers of the products we sell.
