Job summary

Bryan Ashley Inc. is seeking a Furniture Quality Technician to provide virtual and onsite post-order support for hospitality furniture issues. The role includes managing quality issues, coordinating repairs, and communicating with customers and vendors to resolve problems.

The position may require living in Deerfield Beach, FL or commuting daily, with travel to local and out-of-state sites as needed for inspections and repairs.

Qualifications

• Furniture construction and repair knowledge preferred.
• Ability to read construction drawings and floor plans.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze furniture issues reported by customers via images and onsite visits.
• Initiate new repair projects and manage tasks from reporting to closeout.
• Hire furniture repair contractors and assess their experience for specific repairs.
• Assist and lead in determining corrective solutions and coordinate technicians.
• Assist in furniture installations and manage installation teams.
• Provide recommendations for quality and structural improvements for mass production.
• Maintain detailed daily records of customer, vendor and contractor progress and reports.
• Communicate clearly with customers and suppliers with detailed plans of correction.
