Jackson Furniture Industries is seeking a hands-on Plant Manager to lead our furniture manufacturing operations in Mississippi. You will drive production, safety, quality, scheduling, cost control, and employee development to achieve performance goals.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years in manufacturing leadership, a track record of process improvement, and the ability to build a strong leadership team focused on accountability, teamwork, safety, and quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years in manufacturing, production, scheduling, or operations.
• 3+ years leading or supervising in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.

Responsabilités

• Direct and oversee daily manufacturing operations to meet production goals, quality standards, and delivery expectations.
• Coordinate activities across departments to maximize productivity, efficiency, and workflow.
• Identify and implement process improvements to reduce waste, control labor costs, and increase efficiency.
• Develop and monitor production goals, performance metrics, and procedures.
• Oversee equipment needs, maintenance coordination, and resource planning to support production demands.
• Lead, coach, and develop supervisors to ensure effective management of departments.
• Promote teamwork, communication, and collaboration between departments for smooth operations.
