Job summary

Century-Furniture is seeking a packing associate to prepare and package furniture for transport and delivery. You will operate a lift, push units to conveyors, build cartons, and securely wrap items for shipment. Accurate packing tickets and strict safety adherence are required in a noisy warehouse environment.

Must have a high school diploma or GED (preferred) and prior packing experience is a plus; position requires the ability to lift at least 100 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous packing experience a plus.
• Able to lift/move at least 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Operates lift to place unit on the support tray.
• Pushes unit to conveyer as appropriate.
• Builds shipping cartons and inserts furniture into carton.
• Uses shrink wrap gun and staple gun for packing.
• Scans and adds packing ticket to product.
• Follows all safety policies and procedures.
