Job summary

Midwest Clearance Center in Wright City, MO is seeking a full-time salesperson to join a family-run furniture retailer. You will work with customers in a low-pressure, consultative sales environment and provide quotes while managing special-order invoices.

A computerized POS system is used, and occasional showroom setup and tasks are required. The role is hands-on and versatile, with opportunities to move furniture, unload shipments, and assist customers to pickup trucks.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or sales is a plus, but not required.
• Background check required.
• Willingness to pitch in — team environment.
• Basic Windows familiarity; ability to use a computerized POS system.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a low-pressure, consultative sales environment.
• Provide quotes, follow up on estimates, and manage invoices.
• Use a POS system with basic Windows familiarity.
• Help set up and refresh showroom displays; staff inputs on displays.
• Assist with physical tasks: unload mattresses or sofas about once per week, move purchases to pickup trucks, lift up to 75 lbs with help.
