Job summary

Continental Services seeks a Furniture Mover to support installation or removal of vending and market equipment at our North Ridgeville Maintenance Shop. This full-time role requires basic carpentry knowledge, electrical and plumbing connections, and IT connections, with on-site travel to accounts within the region.

You will load, move, and install equipment using proper handling gear, maintain a safe work area, perform vehicle checks, and assist in diagnosing issues.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and communicate with customers or employees.

Responsibilities

• Prepare equipment for installation at accounts and perform installations and removals for current and new accounts.
• Move equipment from warehouse to customer site or vice versa using proper handling equipment.
• Set up and operate mechanical equipment and small hand tools for installation/removal.
• Maintain clean and safe work environment and perform job safely.
• Test and fill machines to ensure customer satisfaction.
