Job summary

Continental Services in Lancaster, NY seeks an Equipment Deployment Specialist to support installation or removal of vending and market equipment. The role operates Monday to Friday, with routes across the region and requires basic carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and IT connection knowledge.

Responsibilities include moving equipment, performing vehicle checks, and ensuring safety and quality through testing and proper handling of tools and machinery.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record; ability to pass DOT requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports.
• Ability to speak effectively to customers or employees.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Prepares equipment for installation at accounts and handles installations and removals.
• Collaborates with managers and customers to determine best action for installation/removal.
• Drives equipment to locations throughout the region.
• Moves equipment using proper handling equipment.
• Performs daily vehicle checks and reports issues.
• Sets up and operates mechanical tools for repair/installation/removal.
• Maintains a clean, safe work environment and tests machines for customer satisfaction.
