Job summary

Broad River Retail seeks a Furniture Handler to join our Operations Team on inbound or outbound activities. You will unload and load furniture, scan items into our inventory system, and assess merchandise for damages to ensure top quality before delivery to customers.

The role requires lifting up to 75 lbs, working in a non-climate-controlled warehouse, and adhering to safety guidelines. Competitive hourly pay, benefits after conversion, and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 75 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical labor in a warehouse.
• Comfort working in a non-climate-controlled environment with outdoor exposure.
• Must follow safety guidelines and communicate clearly with the team.

Responsibilities

• Unload and load furniture at the warehouse loading dock without damages.
• Identify and report any physical damage to merchandise.
• Scan products into the inventory system using RF scanners.
• Sort items by size, type, or product code and maintain cleanliness.
• Support cross-training opportunities and adhere to safety rules.
