Majesto Limited is seeking a Fabric & Material Designer/Specialist to select and develop upholstery fabrics, colors, textures, patterns, and finishes aligning with furniture designs, market trends, and customer preferences. Qualifications

• Minimum 3–7 years of experience in fabric or textile design.
• Strong knowledge of upholstery fabrics, colors, and textures.
• Background in furniture design and product development preferred.

Responsibilities

• Select fabrics, colors, textures, patterns, and finishes for each furniture design.
• Study fashion, textile, interior, and furniture trends to develop collections.
• Coordinate fabrics with foam, leather, wood, metal, stitching, and other materials.
• Develop and maintain a fabric library and seasonal material collection.
• Source new fabrics from local and international suppliers.
• Evaluate fabric quality, colorfastness, abrasion resistance, and durability.
• Prepare fabric/material proposals and mood boards for new products.
• Collaborate with Product Design, R&D, Production, Merchandising, and Procurement.
• Develop fabric combinations for different product categories and price ranges.
• Monitor competitor products and international trends.
• Ensure materials meet cost, quality, and production requirements.
