Job summary

HOM Furniture in Minnesota is seeking a Delivery Assistant to work closely with the Delivery Driver, helping navigate routes and deliver furniture, including assembly and installation when required.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license with a clean record, and the ability to pass a DOT medical examination. 1–3 years of related delivery experience is preferred, and the role involves heavy lifting and physical demands.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Delivery Driver on the route and with navigation.
• Deliver customers' furniture including assembly and installation when required.
• Inspect furniture for flaws or damage.
• Resolve customer complaints when they arise.
• May be required to drive the company vehicle.
• Assist in inspecting and cleaning the company vehicle to keep it presentable.
