Job summary

CORT Furniture Rental is hiring immediately for full-time non-CDL drivers in Pompano Beach, FL. The Delivery Driver works with the Operations team to load and deliver furniture, install at customer sites, and provide an excellent customer experience.

Pay is $21 per hour with a Monday–Friday 7am–4pm schedule; some overtime may be required. Benefits include health insurance, 401(k) with company match, paid vacation, and more.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 21 years of age or older.
• Valid and current driver’s license in the state of residency.
• 12 months professional experience driving a 24-foot box truck or larger commercial vehicle; 1 year preferred.
• Physically able to move furniture indoors/outdoors and lift 100+ pounds with a partner.
• Able to comply with FMCSA regulations and communicate in English.
• Valid DOT Medical Evaluator Certificate and ability to pass a road test.

Responsibilities

• Start your day at the warehouse with the operations team to review route and safety topics.
• Drive a 26-foot box truck with a lift gate to customers’ homes or offices.
• Unload, deliver, and install furniture while interacting with customers.
• Assist in the warehouse as needed; load/unload furniture when required.
