Job summary

CORT Furniture Rental is hiring a full-time Delivery Driver in Pompano Beach, FL. You will load, deliver, and install furniture at customers’ homes or offices, interact with clients, and maintain safe driving practices as part of the Operations team.

Starting pay is $21 per hour, with a Monday–Friday schedule (7am–4pm) and potential overtime. Benefits include health insurance, a 401(k) with company match, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 21 years of age or older.
• Valid and current driver’s license in the state of residency.
• Minimum 12 months professional experience driving a 24-foot box truck or larger commercial vehicle.
• Ability to lift 100+ pounds with a partner.
• Ability to comply with FMCSA regulations.
• DOT Medical Evaluator Certificate and road test requirements.

Responsibilities

• Review route with the operations team at the warehouse.
• Drive a 26-foot box truck with a lift gate to customers’ homes or offices.
• Unload, deliver, and install furniture; interact with customers.
• Assist in the warehouse as needed; load/unload furniture.
