Job summary

VersaDesk, a Los Angeles-based ergonomic workstation maker, seeks an Assembly & Packaging Associate to prepare, inspect, and securely package large items for warehouse storage and transit. You will ensure orders are complete, damage-free, and labeled according to shipping specifications.

Key tasks include wrapping items, constructing cartons and pallets, performing quality checks, verifying counts and serial numbers, affixing labels, loading inventory for delivery, and keeping the workspace

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with manual and pneumatic tools used for packing.
• Familiarity with material handling equipment like pallet jacks or dollies.
• Attention to detail to ensure complete hardware kits.
• Ability to work flexible warehouse shifts including overtime/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Wrap and cushion items to protect surfaces.
• Assemble custom cartons and pallets.
• Conduct quality checks for damage or missing parts.
• Verify pick slips against orders.
• Affix shipping labels and invoices to containers.
• Load and secure inventory for transport.
• Maintain an orderly, hazard-free workspace.
