Farm & Home Hardware is hiring a Sales Associate for our Furniture & Appliances team in Ashland, OH. You’ll focus on understanding customer needs, learning products, and guiding purchases with a friendly, service‑driven approach.

Responsibilities include building quotes, processing sales orders, and following up on quotes and deliveries. You will stay current on promotions, explain financing options, and ensure accuracy and excellent customer care.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide a professional, helpful sales experience
• Learn and sell furniture, mattresses, appliances, and related products
• Ask the right questions to understand customer needs, budget, and priorities
• Build quotes and sales orders accurately
• Follow up with customers on quotes and special orders
• Maintain strong product knowledge and stay current on promotions and manufacturer programs
• Explain available protection plans, delivery, installation, financing, and other services
• Verify orders, pricing, payments, and customer information for accuracy
• Help maintain an organized, clean, and properly tagged sales floor
• Work with the warehouse, delivery, service, and administrative teams to ensure customer satisfaction from sale to completion
• Take ownership of customer concerns and help find solutions
