Job summary

Dowa THT America Inc in Bowling Green, Ohio, seeks a Furnace Operator to perform furnace and gas checks, log recordings, and loading/unloading per recipe and alarm. You will support part setting as needed and follow safety guidelines.

The role runs a 12-hour rotating shift from 5 pm to 5 am with two days on, two off, then three on, three off. Starting pay is from $22.00+/hr, plus a $1.25/hr shift premium and comprehensive benefits.

Job description

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Furnace Operator is responsible for all furnace checks, gas checks, and logged recordings; loading of furnaces and unloading per recipe and alarm; providing additional support to part setting as is necessary.

This is a 12 hour shift, rotating weekends. 5 pm to 5 am. Two days on, two days off, three days on, three days off, repeat.

The successful candidate will have

• High School education or equivalent.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to lift 30 to 50 lbs. intermittently.
• Ability to stand for 12 hours and work every other weekend.
• Respect for and adherence to safety guidelines.

Minimum starting pay is from $22.00+/hr. for no production experience and higher for candidates having experience in a production environment, plus a $1.25/hr. shift premium.
