Job summary

MetalTek International in Wisconsin seeks a skilled technician to inspect furnaces, ladles and funnels for wear and damage, and to remove damaged parts using chisels, hammers, bars, and similar tools.

You will repair or rebuild melt furnaces and linings, maintain an inventory of parts and lining materials, and operate with good mechanical aptitude in a heavy industrial setting. The role requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and familiarity with refractory materials.

Qualifications

• General knowledge of induction furnaces.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
