Job summary

Noveon Magnetics in San Marcos, Texas is hiring a Furnace/Palletizer Operator to run furnace and palletizer equipment, maintain production flow, and uphold safety and quality standards.

You will load materials, monitor temps and feed rates, inspect products, and report deviations to supervision while performing routine maintenance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred.
• Able to read and interpret production instructions, safety guidelines, and quality specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Operate furnace and palletizer equipment to maintain proper temperature, feed rates, and product flow.
• Load raw materials into the furnace and ensure correct material mixtures according to production specifications.
• Inspect product quality at various stages and adjust machinery as needed to maintain standards.
• Monitor system controls, recording data, and reporting any deviations or malfunctions to the supervisor, engineering, and maintenance.
• Perform routine maintenance, including cleaning and lubrication of equipment.
• Stack, wrap, and label pallets according to company standards and prepare them for storage or shipment.
• Ensure the work area is kept clean, safe, and organized.
• Follow all safety procedures, including PPE requirements and lockout/tagout processes.
• Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure smooth production flow.
• Assist with inventory control and material tracking as required.

The Furnace/Palletizer Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently operating the furnace and palletizing equipment to ensure consistent production flow, quality output, and adherence to safety and process standards. This role requires strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a High school diploma or GED required.
• Possesses previous manufacturing or machine operation experience, preferred.
• Can display basic mechanical skills and ability to use hand tools.
• Is able to read and interpret production instructions, safety guidelines, and quality specifications.
• Has a strong attention to detail and possesses the ability to multitask.

Physical Requirements:

• Is able to move up to 50lbs.
• Possesses the manual dexterity to put parts or pieces together quickly and accurately.
• Can wear PPE.
• Comfortable standing for long periods of time, up to and exceeding 60 minutes.
• Is capable of making repetitive movements, including, but not limited to, sitting, squatting, and walking up and down stairs.
• Has a willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends, if required.
• Is comfortable with exposure to high temperatures, noise, and moving machinery.
