Job summary

State Heat Treating Company in Grand Rapids, MI is hiring for a production-focused role. The position offers an hourly pay range of $18–$23 and a standard Monday–Friday shift from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with comprehensive benefits after 90 days.

Responsibilities include reading Work Orders and ISO documents, setting up and operating equipment, and performing ISO-compliant inspections. You’ll train others and maintain safe, organized work areas while supporting full-capacity production loads.

• Read and follow ISO documents accurately.
• Maintain accurate documentation for all jobs.
• Lift and maneuver materials as required and adhere to safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Read and execute Work Orders and ISO documents accurately.
• Set up and operate equipment in the assigned area to meet production schedules.
• Maintain training status per ISO documents.
• Perform part inspections per ISO documents and use inspection equipment correctly.
• Load and unload using a forklift and organize loads for equipment.
• Keep the work area clean and report maintenance needs as required.
