Job summary

G.A. Richards Group in Grand Rapids, MI seeks a production worker to read and execute work orders and ISO documents accurately while maintaining documentation for all jobs.

The role requires operating equipment, startup, setup, and shutdown per process specifications. You will monitor equipment, perform inspections per ISO standards, load materials with a forklift, keep the area clean, and support safety and attendance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Read and execute Work Orders and ISO documents accurately
• Maintain correct, accurate, and complete documentation for all jobs
• Properly setup and operate all equipment in area of responsibility, including start up, set up, and shut down
• Maintain training status per ISO documents
• Perform all job duties with safety and well-being of self and others in mind
• Maintain high equipment efficiency; follow production schedule and prepare loads for equipment
• Understand proper use of inspection equipment and perform part inspections per ISO documents
• Use a forklift to load and unload, baskets of materials into ovens
• Keep area of responsibility organized and clean
• Monitor performance of all equipment; report problems and required maintenance
• Able and willing to train other employees in the requirements of this job
• Ability to maintain a good attendance record
