Job summary

API Heat Transfer is seeking a Furnace Operator for the 2nd shift at our Franklin, WI facility. You will safely operate furnace equipment, monitor process parameters, and maintain quality while supporting overall production flow in a stable manufacturing environment.

Ideal candidates have a HS diploma or GED, can work the 2nd shift consistently, and demonstrate strong safety, quality, and teamwork. Prior furnace or metal manufacturing experience and forklift/crane skills are a plus.

• Accurately complete production and quality documentation.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Identify and report safety, quality, or equipment issues.
• Collaborate with downstream operations including stacking, machine operations, welding, and leak testing.

Preferred:

• Experience in aluminum or metal manufacturing
• Forklift or crane experience (or willingness to be trained)

Physical & Work Environment

• Ability to stand and work on your feet for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with or without assistance
• Comfortable working in a hot, industrial environment
• Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
