Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD in mycology, plant pathology, microbiology (fungal focus), or plant biology.
• 3+ years designing in planta fungicide/pesticide testing in greenhouse, field, or controlled environments.
• Proteins and peptides experience desirable.
• Ability to translate cross-functional inputs into well-designed assays that generate actionable data.
• Strong scientific rigor, reproducibility, and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Design, establish, and optimize robust in planta and greenhouse screening assays across multiple fungal plant pathogens.
• Plan and execute controlled-environment studies to generate reliable, decision-quality data for candidate selection and field trials.
• Analyze results, identify trends, and provide clear technical recommendations.
• Coordinate efforts across teams to standardize assays and deliver timely, high-quality results.
• Present results and rationales to cross-functional teams and contribute to program strategy.
• Develop and document protocols with accurate electronic records.
