Job summary

Solvias is seeking a Scientist, Microbiology for its RTP, North Carolina headquarters. The role focuses on microbiological testing, identification, culture-based and rapid methods, and environmental monitoring within GMP environments.

On-site only, with salary up to $100,000 annually, depending on education and experience. The candidate will contribute to method development, qualification, validation, and transfer for pharma, biotech, and advanced therapies, working in a Biologics and Novel

Qualifications

• MS/PhD in Microbiology or Life Sciences with 5+ years relevant experience or BA/BS with 10+ years relevant experience.
• Experience with rapid sterility, Bioburden, Endotoxin, and monocyte activation technologies in GMP, GLP, or GCP environments.
• Experience in method development, qualification & validation of microbial methods.
• Familiarity with LIMS, ELN, automation, databases, statistics/programming, and client presentations.

Responsibilities

• Perform microbiological testing accurately and independently.
• Coordinate with the Team Lead to execute daily laboratory tasks and training activities.
• Process client samples, qualify controls/standards, document in LIMS/ELN, review protocols and SOPs.
• Maintain inventory and instrument maintenance; ensure GMP compliance.
