SCI is seeking an associate to support funeral service coordination in New York. You will learn to arrange ceremonies, negotiate contracts, manage documents, and assist families with veterans services and memorial options.

Responsibilities include coordinating logistics, handling payments, embeddings in compliance, and assisting with burial or cremation processes while maintaining compassion and professionalism.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Enrolled in or completed mortuary college or mortuary science program.

Responsibilities

• Learn to arrange and conduct funeral and memorial ceremonies in a professional, organized and caring manner.
• Learn to negotiate and create acceptable funeral contracts.
• Handle contracts, legal documents, and collection of monies or insurance.
• Inform families about veterans services and ensure delivery of selected services.
• Verify identification and authorization for embalming.
• Arrange interment or cremation of human remains.
• Assist with service coordination, parking, ushering, and driving.
