Qualifications

• Licensing requirements applicable by state; valid driver’s license.
• Proficient with computers and MS Office; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Learns to arrange and conduct funeral and memorial ceremonies in a professional, organized and caring manner.
• Learns to negotiate and create acceptable funeral contracts; handles contracts, legal documents and insurance collections.
• Ensures client families are informed of veterans services and delivery of selected recognition/services.
• Confirms authorization to proceed with service arrangements and verifies identity for embalming or arrangements.
• Adheres to company and regulatory requirements; maintains decorum and professionalism.
• Performs removals and transfers; coordinates and assists with funeral services, parking, ushering and ceremonies.
• Assists with aftercare tasks, documentation, and data entry related to services, cremations, and maintenance.
• Supports general office duties, vehicle/facility upkeep, inventory of caskets and funeral home supplies.
