Job summary

Piedmont Technical College is seeking adjunct faculty to teach at the Lex D. Walters Campus or at six county centers, with daytime or evening classes, online instruction, and dual credit opportunities.

These temporary, part-time positions require a bachelor's or associated degree with Funeral Service or Mortuary Science competencies and licensure as a funeral director and/or embalmer. Applications are reviewed as teaching opportunities become available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate degree with Funeral Service/Mortuary Science competencies.
• Must hold licensure as funeral director and/or embalmer.

Responsibilities

• Teach diverse student body at various locations using established syllabi and instructional technology.
• Plan, manage and deliver course instruction following EPA/OSHA regulations for the program.
• Participate in college functions and apply teaching practices that support program and college improvement.

Education
