• 3–5+ years in operations of a funeral home.

• Ability to supervise, motivate, and train personnel.
• Professional interaction with clients over the phone and in person.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle; mileage reimbursement provided.
• Availability to work some holidays, evenings and weekends.

Requirements

• 3-5+ years of experience in the operations of a Funeral Home.
• Licensed funeral director and embalmer in AL.
• Degree from an accredited school of embalming or mortuary science or A degree in business management or related field is preferred.
• 1 year of supervisory or management experience.
• Proven leadership ability, excellent customer service, sales and communication skills.
• Ability to supervise, motivate, and train personnel; can appropriately handle employee relations and performance issues.
• Possesses confidence and professionalism to interact with clients over the phone and in person.
• Enjoys interacting and collaborating effectively with others in a team atmosphere.
• Must posses a valid drivers license and access to a personal vehicle. Offsite appointments will occur in this role including meetings with clients and community events. Mileage reimbursement is provided for travel associated with job duties.
• This position requires availability to work some holidays, evenings and weekends as needed.
