Career Strategies is seeking a Funeral Manager/Embalmer in North Carolina to guide families through funeral planning, coordinate services, and supervise staff with a compassionate, professional approach.

The role requires NC Funeral Director and Embalmer licenses, strong leadership, and excellent customer service. Availability for some holidays and travel, with competitive base pay and bonus potential, accompanies comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of experience in the operations of a Funeral Home.
• Licensed funeral director in NC.
• A Valid NC Embalmer License is a great plus and very helpful
• Degree from an accredited school of embalming or mortuary science or a degree in business management or related field is preferred.
• 1 year of supervisory or management experience.
• Proven leadership ability, excellent customer service, sales and communication skills.
• Ability to supervise, motivate, and train personnel; can appropriately handle employee relations and performance issues.
• Possesses confidence and professionalism to interact with clients over the phone and in person.
• Enjoys interacting and collaborating effectively with others in a team atmosphere.
• Must posses a valid drivers license and access to a personal vehicle. Offsite appointments will occur in this role including meetings with clients and community events. Mileage reimbursement is provided for travel associated with job duties.
• This position requires availability to work some holidays, evenings and weekends as needed.
