Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience as a licensed Funeral Director/Embalmer.
• Valid NC Funeral Director/Embalmer license or willingness to obtain.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Supervises day-to-day activities and schedules of funeral arranger staff.
• Oversees operations of the funeral home to meet client expectations.
• Manages resources and day-to-day activities.
• Ensures compliance with Federal, state, and local regulations for cemetery and funeral home.
• Develops relationships with suppliers to add value and market share.
• Coaches, mentors, and develops department heads and staff.
• Inspects facilities to maintain standards.
• Develops and implements local marketing plans and community events.
• Builds relationships with local businesses and leaders.
• Assist reports with goal setting and achievement.
• Encourages development of new service offerings.
• Works independently with minimal supervision.
