Carriage Services is seeking a Funeral Director/Embalmer in Fort Oglethorpe, GA. Join a team dedicated to providing meaningful memorials and a peaceful environment for families.

You will engage with client families, coordinate services, and comply with regulatory requirements while performing embalming duties as needed. Minimum 2 years of experience plus a valid Funeral Director/Embalmer license (or eligible for endorsement) are required, along with a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience as Funeral Director/Embalmer.
• Valid Funeral Director/Embalmer License and/or ability to obtain licenses by endorsement in the state where business is located.
• Demonstrated willingness to participate in growing market through community involvement.
• Valid state issued driver's license in good standing and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Meets with client families to listen and arrange personalized memorial services.
• Ensures timely and accurate document filing in accordance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Conducts and attends services regularly.
• Maintains open and effective communication and up-to-date client files.
• Implements company training and adheres to safety procedures.
• Works on-call/first call with embalming skills in care center locations.
