Job summary

Park Lawn Corporation seeks a dedicated team member to assist in the preparation, planning and execution of funeral and memorial services under supervision of a licensed Funeral Director and/or Embalmer.

The role involves preparing the deceased, arranging services with clergy and guests, and ensuring documents and paperwork are completed accurately and on time while maintaining dignity and respect for families.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree or equivalent combination of education, training and experience preferred.
• Active attendance or enrollment in a Mortuary School/Program required.
• Ability to pass applicable Board exams (National/State).
• Valid state issued driver’s license in good standing and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Assists Funeral Director/Embalmer in planning and executing services to meet memorialization expectations.
• Presenting merchandizing and service options to client families.
• Completing required documents such as obituaries, death certificates, permits, and insurance.
• Participating in service arrangements with clergy and other participants.
• Assisting in preparation of the deceased, including dressing and casketing.
