Job summary

SCI is seeking a compassionate professional to manage funeral arrangements and related services. You will initiate and guide families through arrangements, preside as MC for services, plan event logistics, and oversee the preparation of remains with strict adherence to standards.

Responsibilities include coordinating with preparation staff, ensuring contractual compliance, and maintaining respectful, empathetic interactions with families throughout the process.

Responsibilities

• Arrangements Conference: Initiates and facilitates arrangements by discussing needs with families and guiding them through service options and scheduling.
• Directing Services: Oversees ceremonies as MC, ensures adherence to contract, and guides the team through graveside and visitation services.
• Event Planning: Manages event logistics such as music, flowers, catering, and memorial creation to fulfill family requests.
• Embalming: Cares for the deceased, follows safety and procedure standards, and prepares remains for viewing.
• General: Works under guidance, ensures regulatory compliance, and communicates priorities with the manager.
