Job summary

sci is seeking a licensed Funeral Director to oversee arrangements conferences, directing services, and related ceremonies in a Texas funeral establishment. You will coordinate with families, vendors, and staff to deliver respectful, compliant memorial experiences in accordance with laws and company standards.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited school or college of mortuary science.
• Current Funeral Director license within the practicing state.
• Valid state driver’s license required to operate company vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Arrangements Conference: obtain contact information, discuss needs, schedule appointment, and email confirmation.
• Directing Services: preside as MC for visitation, funeral, or graveside ceremonies and verify contractual arrangements.
• Event Planning: arrange music, flowers, catering, and memorial materials for arrangements.
• General: ensure regulatory compliance, discuss priorities with manager, and volunteer for additional work.
• Interacts with family to fulfill death care requests and collect leads for pre-need services.

Education

Graduated from an accredited school or college of mortuary science

Current Funeral Director license

Valid state driver’s license
