Job summary

Citi in Getzville, NY seeks an experienced credit professional for the Institutional Credit Management Funds Underwriting team. You will assess credit strength, prepare risk write-ups, and monitor portfolios within CCR and ICM, supporting risk governance and underwriting standards.

The role requires 2-5 years in credit analysis in financial services, strong knowledge of Citi systems, and collaboration across BCMA, 2LoD, and regional teams. Travel is <10% and benefits include Citi-wide programs.

Qualifications

• BA/BSc in Finance or Accounting or MBA in Business or related subject.
• 2-5 years previous experience in a financial institution with a focus on credit analysis.
• Demonstrable financial services experience and knowledge of credit risk management.

Responsibilities

• Assess the credit and financial strength of Citi’s Real Money Funds Clients by performing fundamental credit analysis.
• Prepare Credit Analysis Write-up Memos and Final Obligor Risk Ratings based on due diligence and industry knowledge.
• Monitor the covered portfolio and escalate issues to Underwriting Team Leads, 2LoD, and BCMA partners.
• Review and provide recommendations on risk ratings across the Funds sector.
• Collaborate with regional and industry stakeholders to implement credit assessment and monitoring standards.
• Support ICG Risk Analysis VOE initiatives.
• Travel (less than 10%).
