Job summary

Charles Schwab is seeking a finance professional to join the Balance Sheet Strategy team within Corporate Treasury. The role focuses on developing and implementing a new funds transfer pricing framework and infrastructure to drive better capital and earnings decisions.

You will collaborate with investment portfolio managers and risk teams, build models and curricula for FTP education, and deliver actionable analytics across portfolios.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in treasury, FTP, interest rate risk, finance, and/or ALM with increasing responsibility.
• 4+ years of general finance experience.
• Experience using coding languages to automate finance processes.
• Familiarity with FTP methodologies.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration.
• Undergraduate degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• Experience with large datasets and control frameworks is a plus.
• CFA/FRM/PRM preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing a new FTP framework and methodology.
• Collaborate with portfolio managers, risk partners, and product leaders to influence risk‑return optimization.
• Develop analytics and reporting capabilities for decomposition of net interest margin by lines of business and products.
• Support FTP methodology, monthly production and analytics, and new approaches for existing methods and new products.
• Articulate background and value of key changes to leaders across the organization.
