Job summary

Brookfield Asset Management’s Global Client Group seeks an Associate to support the fundraising lifecycle for open‑end liquid strategies, collaborating with internal teams and external investors to deliver key communications and events.

You will develop fundraising strategies, coordinate across stakeholder groups, and prepare fundraise updates while supporting roadshows and thought‑leadership events to advance fundraising objectives.

Qualifications

• Post-graduate degree in finance, business management, or another relevant discipline.
• 2+ years of fundraising experience for public or private fund strategies.
• Demonstrated understanding of the LP landscape and investor preferences across key regions.
• Experience using Salesforce, Seismic, Evestment, Preqin and other sales-enablement or research tools.
• Strong product and strategy knowledge with ability to communicate fund details internally.
• Experience in high-volume, technology-enabled processes.
• Credit asset-class experience strongly preferred.
• Institutional fund/strategy marketing sales and support experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support Fundraise Management leadership in all stages of the fundraising lifecycle and collaborate with functional partners and investor contacts.
• Develop and implement fundraising strategy to generate investor interest and meet quarterly/annual objectives, working closely with Client Relationship Managers.
• Monitor, adapt, and adjust strategies as circumstances change.
• Facilitate key decisions and maintain coordination across stakeholder groups.
• Prepare fundraise updates and participate in GCG leadership meetings as required.
• Coordinate communication and collaboration with Diligence Management, Marketing & Content, Client Relationship Management, Investor Relations, Legal, Compliance, Finance & Operations, and Investment Teams.
• Create and manage fund‑specific marketing materials (talking points, sales training guides, pitchbooks, teasers, case studies).
• Plan and support road shows, conferences, thought‑leadership events, and other fundraising‑focused communications.
• Conduct fund, competitor, and limited‑partner landscape research.
• Identify issues and proactively manage risk.
