Job summary

Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta is seeking a fundraising events coordinator to implement and deliver ongoing programs, events, and activities to raise revenue and awareness in alignment with the hospital’s mission.

You will work with staff, volunteers, sponsors, donors and vendors; manage budgets and schedules, travel across the Atlanta metro area, and attend to safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Represent Children’s professionally with sponsors, volunteers, and donors.
• Strong organizational, verbal and written, and interpersonal skills.
• Self-starter with ability to make decisions independently.
• Willing to work long hours including evenings and weekends.
• Must be able to travel through expanded Atlanta metropolitan area.
• Must provide reliable transportation (miles reimbursed).

Responsibilities

• Implement and develop assigned fundraising events and programs.
• Assist in sponsorship sales, auction item solicitation, vendor negotiation and ticket sales.
• Plan and coordinate events with manager, sponsors, volunteers, staff to ensure cohesive execution.
• Support continuous assessment and improvement of services and events.
• Represent Children’s in fundraising initiatives at community functions.
• Develop and manage program budgets for activities.
• Comply with infection control, safety, and OSHA procedures.
