Job summary

NRDC is seeking an undergraduate intern to support the Donor Relations team in the Development (Fundraising) Department. The role is based in New York with onsite work three days per week and involves assisting with donor events and crafting responses to common member questions.

The internship runs 10 weeks with a $7,000 stipend, and duties include developing fundraising materials, organizing donor data, and analyzing major donor information to improve communications.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate program.
• Rising sophomores, juniors, seniors, and recent graduates (May 2027) are eligible to apply.

Responsibilities

• Live support at in-person and virtual events for NRDC donors.
• Research NRDC's programmatic work to craft responses to common Member questions.
• Assist with the development of direct mail campaign materials.
• Organize custom report collaterals and donor information.
• Take inventory of membership and donor relations templates.
• Analyze data from major donors.
• Produce original communications materials and provide recommendations for improving materials.
