Job summary

Methodist Rehabilitation in Jackson, Mississippi seeks a Development Coordinator to support the Wilson Research Foundation. You will manage annual fundraising activities, donor records, and communications, working closely with the Executive Director.

The position requires five years of nonprofit experience, strong organizational skills, and Microsoft Office proficiency. You will help plan events, prepare reports, and ensure timely acknowledgments while delivering outstanding service to donors

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, marketing or related field.
• Minimum of five years of professional work experience.
• Fundraising, donor relations, event planning, or project management experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams).
• Ability to manage multiple projects with deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct annual fundraising activities and campaigns.
• Coordinate the Walk & Roll fundraiser and related events.
• Maintain donor records, prepare deposits, and issue receipts.
• Prepare donor communications and reports.
• Support donor stewardship, proposals, and follow-up.
• Assist with marketing materials and Foundation communications.
• Provide exceptional service to donors and partners.
• Support events and other development initiatives.
