Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, marketing or related field.
• Minimum of five years of professional work experience.
• Fundraising, donor relations, event planning, or project management experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams).
• Ability to manage multiple projects with deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct annual fundraising activities and campaigns.
• Coordinate the Walk & Roll fundraiser and related events.
• Maintain donor records, prepare deposits, and issue receipts.
• Prepare donor communications and reports.

Working closely with the Executive Director as part of a two-person Foundation team, this position will focus on annual fundraising activities as well as office operations.What You'll DoConduct annual fundraising activities, including direct mail appeals, employee giving, and special campaigns.Assist with planning and coordinating the annual Walk & Roll fundraising campaign and event, including sponsorships, logistics, participant communications, volunteers, vendors, and follow-up.Process and accurately record charitable gifts, prepare deposits, and maintain supporting documentation.Prepare donor acknowledgment letters, tribute notifications, and tax receipts.Maintain accurate donor records and generate reports, mailing lists, and gift summaries.Support donor stewardship and recognition activities.Conduct prospect research and prepare information for donor meetings.Assist with donor cultivation, proposals, communications, and follow-up.Prepare Foundation correspondence, reports, presentations, and marketing materials.Provide outstanding service to donors, volunteers, hospital staff, and community partners.Assist with Foundation events and other development initiatives.About UsSince 1975, Methodist Rehabilitation has been Mississippi’s only independent, nonprofit hospital dedicated to comprehensive rehabilitation and research.
