Job summary

The Jewish Federation of Palm Beach County seeks a Development Officer to manage a diverse donor portfolio and drive meaningful engagement within designated residential communities or geographic areas. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Three or more years’ experience in fundraising or nonprofit work.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Superior customer service skills.
• Strong knowledge of MS Office and basic database skills.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Participate in campaign development in assigned communities within Palm Beach County.
• Oversee fundraising campaigns and volunteer opportunities.
• Cultivate donor relationships and develop tailored solicitation strategies.
• Represent the Federation at events and build partnerships.
• Lead and support lay leader ambassadors to enhance donor cultivation.
• Collaborate with teams to support all fundraising initiatives.
• Promote the Federation’s mission through outreach and donor service.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
