Job summary

Concord Academy in Memphis seeks an Events Manager to plan and execute fundraising and community events year-round. You’ll own logistics, vendors, volunteers, budgets, and promotion while helping tell our story to donors and families.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree (preferred) and 2+ years in event planning or nonprofit fundraising, with strong organization and communication skills and experience with Office 365 and donor management platforms (GiveSmart, Bloomerang).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years in event planning, hospitality, marketing, or nonprofit fundraising.
• Experience coordinating vendors, budgets, and volunteers for mid- to large-scale events.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute Concord Academy’s fundraising and community events from start to finish.
• Build and manage event budgets and track expenses and revenue.
• Recruit, train, and coordinate event volunteers and committee members.
• Lead event marketing and promotion — invitations, registration pages, social media, signage, and print materials.
• Track attendance, sponsorships, and gifts; report on event results.
• Represent Concord Academy at community and networking events.
