Charity Getaways is expanding our sales team and is seeking to hire Fundraising Account Managers to support five regional territories across the United States.
This is a relationship driven, full cycle sales position focused on developing and growing partnerships directly with nonprofit organizations and their development teams.
We are particularly interested in candidates with experience selling directly to nonprofits, Development Directors, fundraising professionals, or similar decision-makers. Experience selling travel experiences, auction packages, fundraising solutions, or other products and services used in nonprofit fundraising is highly preferred. Individuals with nonprofit development, major gifts, or sponsorship solicitation experience also would be a good fit.
As a Fundraising Account Manager, you will own your territory and your book of business. You will be responsible for identifying and prospecting new opportunities, qualifying leads, conducting outbound calls and outreach, closing new business, developing client relationships, and cultivating repeat business year after year.
This is more than simply selling a vacation package.
You will work one-on-one with nonprofit partners to understand their organization, fundraising events, audience, and goals. You will serve as a knowledgeable resource, recommending travel experiences that fit their events and helping them identify opportunities to increase participation, sell additional packages, and maximize fundraising results.
Relationship management doesn't end when the sale closes. Many of our nonprofit partners host recurring annual events, making consistent follow-up and long-term relationship development an essential part of this position. You will proactively reconnect with previous clients, re-engage dormant accounts, identify upcoming events, and build relationships that generate repeat business year after year.
We are looking for someone who enjoys the hunt for new business but also understands that lasting relationships are what build a successful book of business.
The strongest candidates will bring a combination of sales ability, nonprofit knowledge, relationship-building skills, and personal accountability.
This is a remote-hybrid position based in Central Florida.
Most day-to-day work will be performed remotely, and candidates should have a professional and functional home-office environment. Occasional in-person meetings, training, team events, or other company activities will be required.
Our entrepreneurial culture gives every member of our team the opportunity to make a meaningful impact. We value people who are collaborative, resourceful, accountable, comfortable taking initiative, and willing to jump in when needed.
We're looking for someone who wants to grow a territory and build long term relationships, not just work a list of leads.
Base Salary starting at $50,000, plus 8% commission on sales above $50,000.
Our established sales representatives average between $500k- $1.2M in annual sales, providing significant earning potential for high-performing representatives.
There is no substitute for strong relationships, consistent follow-up, and personal accountability. If you're a driven salesperson who understands the nonprofit fundraising world and enjoys helping organizations raise more money, we'd love to hear from you.
